Sigue Sigue Sputnik Electronic

Sigue Sigue Sputnik Electronic is an electronic punk project associated with Sigue Sigue Sputnik, led by Martin Degville. It also features Johann Weidemann as part of the line-up described in the group’s own material. The act takes the framework of the original Sigue Sigue Sputnik and reworks it in a more electronic direction, drawing on synth-pop, electro, glam and punk.

The group releases material under the Sigue Sigue Sputnik Electronic name, including an EP of David Bowie tracks interpreted in its own style. It also works on remixes of the first Sigue Sigue Sputnik album, Flaunt It, with a heavier electro approach. The act’s output appears through a number of online and independent channels, including its Bandcamp presence and releases linked to the Sigue Sigue Sputnik name.
