Sienna Spiro is a London-born British singer-songwriter whose work sits across alternative pop, classical crossover, pop, pop soul and singer-songwriter styles. Born in 2005, she begins writing songs at the age of 10, drawing inspiration from jazz performers such as Etta James and Frank Sinatra, as well as early-2000s hip-hop artists.
Early presence online
In 2021, Spiro starts posting singing videos on TikTok. After a series of viral clips featuring both covers and original songs, she builds an online following.
Singles and debut EP
Spiro releases her debut single, “Need Me”, in 2024. Later that year she follows it with “Maybe”, which reaches number 75 on the Official Singles Chart and number 45 in the UK. Her 2024 singles also include “Taxi Driver” and “Back to Blonde”. In 2025 she releases “Butterfly Effect”, then her debut extended play, Sink Now, Swim Later, which brings together her earlier singles and three new tracks.
Breakthrough and later releases
She continues with “Dream Police” and “You Stole the Show” in 2025. Her track “Die on This Hill” becomes her breakthrough release, reaching number nine on the UK Singles Chart. After its release, she signs a global publishing agreement with Sony Music Publishing.
Background and family
Spiro is the daughter of jeweller Glenn Spiro and Arabella. She and her family are Jewish, and her mother is involved with Tikva UK, a non-profit that supports at-risk Jewish children in Ukraine. Her mother’s cousin is Gilbert de Botton.
Live activity and recognition
She performs at All Points East festival at Victoria Park, London, in 2024 and later plays her first tour across the United Kingdom in 2025. She is also nominated for the Critics’ Choice accolade at the 2026 Brit Awards.
