Shor

Shor is an electro-pop project by Rohan Shetty from India. It begins as a participatory-exploratory music ethnography project in Urbana, Illinois, in late 2007, and it develops through collaborations between artists associated with Tape Records Inc.

The project’s recordings are free-form and experimental. They generally use synthesizers and drum machines, but they are not limited to any fixed instrumental or sonic framework. Much of the output sits near experimental techno, although the project resists a single genre label.
