Shearling

Shearling is an experimental rock band from Los Angeles active since 2024. The group forms after the breakup of Alexander Gregory Kent’s previous project, Sprain. Kent, who leads vocals and guitar, joins with guitarist Sylvie Simmons, drummer Andrew Chanover, bassist Wesley Joseph Nelson, and keyboardist and sampler player Elizabeth A. Carver. The band also includes Big Brown Cow. Shearling is associated with noise rock, post-rock, experimental rock and noise, and its stated approach centres on experimental rock drawn from Los Angeles.
