Sharptooth

Sharptooth is a hardcore band from Baltimore, Maryland, active since 2012. The group’s line-up includes Peter Bruno and Lauren Kashan, and its music is associated with hardcore, metalcore, hardcore punk and punk rock.

Releases

Sharptooth releases include the EP Chompers and the studio albums Clever Girl and Transitional Forms. The band signs to Pure Noise Records in 2017.

Line-up changes

The band’s later history includes a change in lead vocals. In 2022, Marissa Ward, formerly of the beatdown hardcore band Backswing, is introduced as the new vocalist. Around the same time, the band says it will not perform songs written during Lauren Kashan’s time in the group and states that it is taking a new direction.
