Sharam Jey

Sharam Jey is a German DJ, producer and label owner associated with house, tech house, electro, electronic and electronica. He begins in a rock band before moving into Germany’s house and techno scene, where he develops his career as a dance music producer and DJ.

Career

Jey signs his first record deal with Darren Emerson of Underwater Records. He then releases his first artist album, 4 Da Loverz, alongside mix compilations, and tours internationally as a DJ and producer. He later starts his own label, King Kong Records.

His remix of Café del Mar’s “Energy 52” is voted best dance track of all time. He also remixes tracks for Moby, Mylo, Faithless and Faith No More.

Collaborations and aliases

He works under several aliases and project names, including Stressman, 16C+, Three ’n One, Tranquilizer, and S. Jey & Andrew. His recorded work also includes collaborations with a range of other artists, and his second artist album, In My Blood, is prepared with multiple collaborators.

Label work

Jey launches King Kong Records and is also associated with Bunny Tiger.
