Shanty is an Indonesian singer and actress from Jakarta. She is also known as Annissa Nurul Shanty Kusuma Wardhani Heryadie. In addition to her music career, she works as a former MTV video jockey, with that role spanning 1998 to 2002.

As an actress, Shanty appears in several films, including Berbagi Suami, Kala, Maaf, Saya Menghamili Istri Anda, The Photograph and Lotus Requiem, all from the mid-2000s.

Music

Shanty releases pop music and has a solo discography that begins with Shanty and continues with Persembahan dari Hati and Seperti Langit. She also issues the compilation album 9907, which includes two new tracks, Unbreakable and Selamat Tinggal Selamanya.
