Shallowater is a slowcore trio from Houston, United States, made up of Ryan Faulkenberry, Tristan Kelly and Blake Skipper. The group forms in 2022 and is active in the present.

The band is described as drawing on West Texas roots and is associated with slowcore, alt-country, shoegaze and indie rock. Its sound is also characterised as “dirtgaze,” linking the group’s music to a raw West Texas aesthetic while operating from Houston.
