Shadow Of Intent

Shadow Of Intent is an American deathcore group based in Milford, United States. The band forms in 2013 and works as a project led by vocalist Ben Duerr and instrumentalist Chris Wiseman. Its line-up later includes Matt Kohanowski.

Formation and early releases

The group begins as an internet-based collaboration and issues its first EP, Inferi Sententia, in 2014. It then continues developing material for its first album, Primordial, which arrives in 2016.

Albums and activity

Shadow Of Intent follows Primordial with Reclaimer, released independently in 2017. The album sells 1,300 copies in its first week and later passes one million streams. The band also expands its presentation through live members for videos and concerts.

Live work

The group’s first live show sells out Webster Underground in Hartford, Connecticut. After that, it is booked by JJ Cassiere of 33 and West and tours nationally with acts including The Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Carnifex, Oceano and Fleshgod Apocalypse.
