Session A9 is a traditional Scottish band from the United Kingdom. It is led by Charlie McKerron, who is also known for his work with Capercaillie.

The group forms as an album project in 2003, when it makes its first record, What Road?. Its line-up includes Kevin Henderson on fiddle, Kris Drever on vocals, guitar and mandolin, Gordon Gunn on fiddle, Brian McAlpine on keyboards and Adam Sutherland on fiddle. The broader group membership also includes Marc Clement and David “Chimp” Robertson.

The band’s line-up in the available information also features Tim Edey on guitar and melodeon and Iain Copeland on percussion.
