Style and themes

The duo’s music combines hard-hitting beats and gritty production with hip-hop elements and Indian influences. Their writing is noted for intricate lyricism, wordplay and sharp wit, with lyrics that often use social commentary and references to Indian culture and urban life.

Their songs frequently address inequality, corruption and the pressures faced by young people in modern India. Their work also helps encourage other Indian hip-hop artists to draw on their own backgrounds, tell their stories and question social norms through music.
