Sectioned

Sectioned are a UK death metal group from Broadstairs, Kerns, active since 2006. They also sit within the broader metal underground, with music tagged as mathcore, death metal, djent, metalcore and math metal.

The band releases music through Bandcamp, where it makes its recordings available on a pay-what-you-want basis. Its recorded output includes three EPs, Wake Up, It’s Starting, Monotone and Outlier, along with a debut album, Annihilated, which appears in 2018.

Sectioned also functions as a side project of the noise and power electronics act Breathing Problem. The group has performed with Full of Hell, Code Orange Kids, Textures, The Ocean Collective, Aliases and Liferuiner. Its track “Hell Away From Home” also appears on the cover CD of Metal Hammer magazine.
