Scholars

Scholars are a UK rock band from Hemel Hempstead, active since 2007. They are listed as a group with Sam Nicholls as a member, and their music sits within alternative rock, punk and rock.

Overview

The band is made up of five friends from south east England who form their songs from a mix of influences rather than following a single style. Their songwriting draws on bands including Braid, Hundred Reasons, Death Cab for Cutie, The Faint and Tears for Fears, and the group aims for a sound that still feels like Scholars despite those references.
