....remember when indie rock was good? so do schande. schande is the brainchild of Jen Chochinov. It?s her baby actually. Starting as a solo project in Ventura, California, the Schande vision evolved into band formation while Jen was living in England. While living abroad, Schande toured England extensively for well over a year. Jen then re-crossed the Atlantic, landing in Columbus, Ohio and now has based herself and Schande in San Francisco. As if a sonic metaphor for the mobility demonstrated throughout the evolution of the band, the music and inherent nature of Schande is a landscape of sound and feel- a soundtrack fit for nomads and pirates alike.
