Scarlet Soho

Scarlet Soho is a UK electronic and indie group made up of Nicholas Haynes, Lee Kinrade, Jim Knights and Scarlet. The band begins releasing music in October 2002 with the single Disconnected on Vivid Records, and tours extensively in the UK, including support slots with The Faint, Lolita Storm and Delays.

In 2004, Scarlet Soho signs to Human Recordings and issues its debut EP for the label, Isolation. The band also begins working in Southampton with Delays producer Justin Callaway, which leads to the album Divisions Of Decency, released in November 2004. The record moves between theatrical, upbeat electro rock and a starker pop sound associated with groups such as Magazine, Interpol and The Sneaker Pimps.

In May 2005 the band releases Modern Radio as a single, marking the end of six months of touring. That run includes a headline performance at the Marquee in Leicester Square during the premiere of Star Wars Episode 3. Scarlet Soho then steps away for several months to work on new material.

The group returns to live work in 2006 with a one-off support slot with Razorlight, several dates with Delays on their UK tour, and dates supporting IAMX on the German leg of their European tour. In March 2007, Scarlet Soho releases the single Analogue Dialogue (kill the beat) through UK indie label Illicit and supports IAMX at The Scala in London in the same month.
