Scarlet Fever is the name used by more than one band. One version is a sleaze glam metal group from New Jersey that releases its only album, Just What The Doctor Ordered, in 1989. That line-up includes Rick Lehland on bass and vocals, Eric Christy Blakk on guitar and vocals, Steven Traci Bishop on vocals, Rexx Young on guitar, and Jacky Rena on drums. After the band splits, Steven Traci Bishop and Jacky Rena form a new group called The Dogtown Balladeers.

Another Scarlet Fever is a band from Newcastle, Australia, formed in 2004. It includes Ben Soedradjit on guitar and vocals, Robbie Dormand on bass, and Brendan Fisher on drums. This group takes influence from Against Me! and Locals Fear Us, and its releases include a split demo with Fear Like Us in 2005 and a 10-track release in early 2006.

A third Scarlet Fever is a psychobilly band from Cleveland, Ohio. It is described as one of the few true psychobilly bands in the area and is associated with rhythmic, haunting songs, a strong live atmosphere, and fast tempos.
