Sax Ruins

Sax Ruins is a Japanese duo formed in 2006 by Tatsuya Yoshida on drums and Ono Ryoko on alto saxophone. The group is active from 2006 to the present and consists of 小埜涼子 and 吉田達也.

Style and repertoire

The project is built around performances of RUINS material. It reworks the orchestration associated with Ruins by adding saxophone to the arrangement, creating a sound described as closer to a big band interpretation of progressive jazz core.
