Saturday

Saturday is a South Korean girl group formed under SD Entertainment. The group debuts in 2018 with seven members and a lineup that changes several times over the following years. Its name is also given as 세러데이.

Group history and membership

The original line-up consists of Sion, Sunha, Haneul, Chaewon, Chohee, Yuki and Ayeon. Chaewon leaves before the release of To Sunday Christmas in December 2018. Juyeon joins in January 2019 for the group’s next comeback. Sunha leaves in March 2019, and Minseo joins in April 2019. Sion and Chohee leave in August 2019. Haneul later leaves in July 2023 due to personal circumstances. The current line-up consists of Juyeon, Yuki, Ayeon and Minseo.

Releases

The group debuts on July 18, 2018 with the single MMook JJi BBa. Their second single album, Follow Saturday, includes the title track “WiFi” and the song “Super Bad.” They also release To Sunday Christmas in December 2018. In 2019, they put out “Gwiyomi Song” and the special track “To Sunday Gwiyomi,” described as a gift to their fanbase, Sundays. Later that year they release their third single album IKYK, led by “BByong.”

In 2020, the group releases a fourth single album featuring “DBDBDIB” and “Love You.” That year they also record “Little Star (With Haneul, Yuki)” for Love Interference season 3. In 2021, they release “Only You” together with a five-member version of “In Your Eyes,” which appears on the To Sunday Christmas album. In 2023, they return with their sixth single album Find Summer, containing “Stay” and “Love Dream.”
