Sasha Le Monnier

Sasha Le Monnier is a DJ and producer from Jersey in the Channel Islands, working in progressive house, house, dance and electronic music. She has been active as a DJ for 14 years and runs and co-manages four club nights in her home island. She is also associated with Frisky Radio and with a wide range of promo pools, radio stations and record labels across the electronic music scene.

DJ work and performances

Le Monnier plays in Jersey, across Europe, in the United States and in London. Her club dates include Ministry of Sound and Kiss Nightclub in London, and The Code in Subotica, Serbia, where the performance is covered by two magazine interviews and a television interview. She also appears at Jersey Live, Mass Electronic Music Festival and an after-party at Exit Festival in Novi Sad. In Australia, she tours clubs including Chinese Laundry, My Aeon, Bar Soma and Kings Cross Hotel, and warms up for Guy J on two nights during that visit.

Production and releases

Under the name C.O.U. Muzik, she releases original tracks and remixes and works with artists including Matt Rowan, Sven Hauck, Ben Coda, Chloe Harris, Seb Dhajje, Ogi Gee Cash & Synchronized, Jeff Devas, Maxi Valvona, also known as Ad Brown, Darin Epsilon, Santerna & Marcie, Jacco@work, Matias Popoff, Native, Kris B & Nosmo, Royal Sapien and The Chrono Logic. Her first solo production appears in 2010 on Source Of Gravity Digital, followed by releases on WeContinue Digital, Tactal Hots Music and Stripped Digital. Her remixes include tracks such as “Jonah” on Celestial Recordings, “Snowdaze” on Polytechnic Recordings and Simon Firth’s “Space Junk” for Voco Records. An EP called Home is also planned for release on Tactal Hots Music Envoirment.

Le Monnier works as P&R Manager for Source Of Gravity Digital, an Isle of Man label, from 2006.
