Sarah Cracknell is a singer from Chelmsford, England, born in 1967. She is best known as the vocalist of Saint Etienne and also records as a solo artist.

Early solo work

Her first recording is the solo single Love is All You Need, which appears in 1987. After that, she appears as a guest on recordings by other artists.

Solo releases

Cracknell issues one full-length solo album, Lipslide, in 1997. Three years later, she releases the seven-track mini-LP Kelly's Locker in the United States; it includes two previously unreleased songs.

Collaborations and later work

In 2008, she has her most notable solo chart success in the UK with Mark Brown on The Journey Continues.... In 2015, she releases her second solo album, Red Kite, followed in 2016 by an instrumental version of the album titled Kites.

Other projects

Alongside Saint Etienne, she is also associated with Cola Boy.
