Santos is the recording name of Italian DJ and producer Sante Pucello, born in Frosinone, Italy in 1971. He works in breakbeat, electronica and house, and is associated in the input with 2 Guys With Tits and Rockets & Ponies.

Career

Pucello begins making music in 1992 with a friend and completes his first record two years later. In 1995, Mantra Vibes contacts him for the track “THE PIANO”. A few years after that, “Camels” reaches the UK top 10, supported by DJs including Pete Tong, Annie Nightingale, Judge Jules and Basement Jaxx. His first album, R U SHAKADELIC?, follows soon afterwards.
