Sandy B is a dance music singer from the United States, associated with house, dance, funky house and vocal house. She builds her reputation on club-oriented releases and chart success on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart through the 1990s and into the 21st century.

Career

In 1993, Sandy B releases I Feel Like Sing on Nervous Records and reaches number 1 on the charts. Two years later, a Deep Dish remix helps her track Make the World Go Round reach number 1 on the dance chart in 1996. She returns to the top spot the following year with Ain't No Need To Hide.

Her releases give her multiple Top 10 entries on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart across the 1990s and beyond, making her a regular presence on the dance floor circuit.

Other work and collaborations

Sandy B appears in Columbia TriStar Pictures’ Donnie Brasco and sings all vocals for Disney Animation’s Kronk's New Groove. She also works with a number of established artists, including Evelyn King, the Isley/ Jasper/ Isley group, and Daryl Hall.
