Sandwitch

Sandwitch is a folk-rock duo based in Wales, made up of Buddy Freebury and Andrea Freebury, who was formerly known as Andrea Hallier. The pair have made music together since 1997, and in other line-ups for many years before that. Buddy Freebury is British, while Andrea Freebury comes from Germany.

Recordings and releases

The duo’s debut album, Hourglass, is released at Fairport Convention’s Cropredy Festival in August 2001. Their earlier releases include Spells & Charms and Crystal Ball. Their fourth CD, Going 4th ........ On to New Horizons, follows in February 2010 after a period of being largely outside the music scene.

Live work and appearances

Sandwitch support Fairport Convention twice and Steve Gibbons in November 2003. They also appear at the Oldenburger Kultursommer, the Whitby Festival, Stainsby Folk Festival, Burntwood Folk Festival and The Two Rivers Festival in Chepstow.
