San Holo

San Holo is the stage name of Sander van Dijck, a Dutch DJ, composer, musician and record producer from Zoetermeer in the Netherlands. He is associated with electronic music, including EDM, future bass and trap. His work is released on bitbird, the label he founds and runs, and he also releases music through Spinnin Records, OWSLA, Barong Family and Monstercat.

Career

He first gains wider international attention through a remix of Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode”, which becomes a major YouTube hit. He builds a catalogue that includes several singles released through bitbird, among them “Still Looking” and “Light”.

His first EP, Cosmos, is released through Heroic and reaches the Top 100 Electronic category on iTunes. He follows it with the EP The Trip on bitbird. His debut album, album1, appears in 2018. He later releases stay vibrant, a weekly song project made during the coronavirus pandemic, and his second album, bb u ok?, also called album2.

Label work and collaborations

Alongside his own releases, San Holo is closely tied to bitbird as both artist and founder. His later releases include “We will meet again”, a collaboration with Jai Wolf, and “All The Highs”.
