Samo

Samo is an electronic trio from Poland. It is also described as an avant-garde metal group and as a duo associated with the label Tone Industria. One note connected with the group mentions an EP titled Plex Zero on Tone Industria.

Related uses of the name

The name is also used for several different acts. One is an indie blues rock two-piece originally from St. Louis, Ohio, later based in Portland, Oregon, formed by Daniel Kine and Friends. That act is named after artist Jean-Michel Basquiat and cites Son House and Dooley Williams among its influences. Its first 7-inch is recorded on Borrowdeer Records in July 2008.

Another artist called Samo is a member of the Mexican pop rock trio Camila. He leaves the band in 2013 to focus on a solo career, then returns in 2023.
