2) Samo was an indie blues rock 2-piece band originally from St. Louis, Ohio, and then Portland, OR by Daniel Kine & Friends. Named after artist Jean Michel-Basquiat. They were inspired by the likes of Son House and Dooley Williams. Their first 7" was recorded on Borrowdeer Records in July of 2008
