Salvation

Salvation is a UK goth band and one of the original Leeds-based post-punk and gothic rock groups. Formed in 1983, the band releases its first 12-inch on Merciful Release, the label associated with the Sisters of Mercy. It then becomes a regular presence in the indie charts alongside contemporaries including The Mission, Skeletal Family and Red Lorry Yellow Lorry.

The group later signs to IRS, the label run by Miles Copeland, but splits the following year. It remains active from 1983 to the present and is identified as a group from the United Kingdom. Benoît Farvak is listed as a member.
