Ryder is the recording name of Ella Isaacson, a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, born in 1993. She initially grows up in New York City and starts writing and singing music at the age of three. As a child, she also experiments with instruments. By her mid-teens, she is travelling around New York looking for recording studios where she can write and produce music.

Ryder works with producers including Dave Tozer, who produces John Legend’s “All Of Me”, and Angela Hunte, who produces Jay Z’s “Empire State of Mind”. She later attends NYU alongside other musicians including Felix Snow and RL Grime.

In 2015, she releases her first single, “Pretty Little Gangster”, after spending five years writing it. The track is uploaded by major YouTube channels including Mr. Suicide Sheep and Paradise Music, and it reaches 8 million views. She is also working on her first EP, with “King” described as the lead single and a move in a new direction for her.
