Ryan Davis

Ryan Davis is an electronic music producer associated with minimal and neotrance. His work centres on soundscapes and club-oriented music, with an emphasis on atmosphere as well as rhythm. In 2006 he releases his first single, Transformer, which establishes his name in the scene.

He releases music on labels including Archipel, Manual and Traum, and his tracks appear on compilations compiled by Ivan Smagghe and John Digweed. His releases receive regular feedback from artists including DJ Sasha, John Digweed, Stephan Bodzin and Hernan Cattaneo.

Traum releases

In 2011 he becomes a core part of the Traum roster through the EPs Routes of Life and Light & Shadow. He later releases his debut album on Traum, Particles of Bliss, which is accompanied by a series of videos linking sound and visuals. A four-track EP on Traum follows, alongside a collaboration with Electric Rescue.

Collaborations and remix work

Ryan Davis also remixes tracks for DJ Sasha, Dominik Eulberg, Pig & Dan and Luis Junior. He works with the Berlin label Areal and starts two of his own labels, issuing releases by established artists and newcomers. His work develops within a wider network of labels and artists, and he is also part of the TRAUM booking agency.
