RVS

RVS is the stage name of Randall Villalobos Solano, a Costa Rican freestyler and rapper from Heredia. He is active in the Costa Rican rap scene and is known for competing in battle rap and releasing recorded music.

Battle rap career

He wins several freestyle titles, including Rapquicia 2017, BMD Pandillas 2017, and Poseidon 2018. He also wins the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos Nacional Costa Rica in 2018, which leads to his appearance at the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos Internacional 2018. There, he is defeated by Indico from Panama in the round of 16. He later competes again in the Costa Rican national edition in 2019, losing to G in the round of 16, and in 2020, when SNK defeats him in the round of 16.

Recorded music and collaborations

RVS releases music as a rapper and has a first album produced by Ruff&Tuff Studios and DJP. His work includes tracks such as “Otro Fin” and “Pineapple Express”, the latter featuring Ghettox. He also collaborates with veteran Costa Rican artists including Ghettox and Crypy 626, as well as with Cehzar and SNK.

He is described as one of the best-known rappers in the Costa Rican rap scene.
