Rushil is an Indian singer-songwriter from Bombay, India. He is born on 15 June 1994 and spends part of his childhood in London before moving to Cyprus.

Music is a constant presence in his home from an early age, and he performs on stage with the saxophone as a child. At the age of fourteen, he takes up the guitar and forms a band with friends, after which he begins to focus more seriously on writing and performing his own songs. He cites covering The Fray’s “How to Save a Life” as the moment when he realises that music is the only career he wants to pursue.

Rushil meets a producer who encourages him to start writing original material, and he develops a style that combines different genres. His live performances are noted for his voice, emotional delivery and willingness to mix a range of musical forms. He values live performance for the total focus it demands.

He is studying law at the University of Oxford while recording an original album titled Oscillations, described as a personal account of his journey so far.
