Rum Doodle

Rum Doodle is a folk roots acoustic duo from Leeds. The line-up is Martin and BB Tim, and the pair perform mainly their own original songs.

Their music draws on a wide range of influences, from Christy Moore and The Dubliners to Bob Dylan and Neil Young. Much of the material takes inspiration from life on the islands they live in, including heritage, different languages, and growing up beside the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.

The duo also places emphasis on the “craic”, which is part of the character of their material and presentation.
