Ruede Hagelstein is a German techno DJ and producer from Rüdersdorf, Germany. Born in 1979, he works within techno, with his productions also associated with minimal, house, and tech house.

Career

He is born in the rural area outside Berlin and later moves to central Berlin, where he becomes involved in the city’s electronic music scene. Before focusing fully on music, he works at night-guide magazines and sets up his own party forum, restrealitaet.de.

Music

Hagelstein’s production style develops from disco-electro towards a more minimal house and techno sound. His work receives support from Sven Väth and Michael Mayer.

Residencies and releases

He holds residencies at Watergate in Berlin and Harpune in Düsseldorf. He also releases the album Soft Pack under the name Ruede Hagelstein & The Noblettes.
