Royal Blood

Royal Blood are an English hard rock duo from Worthing, formed in 2011. The group consists of Mike Kerr on vocals, bass guitar and keyboards, and Ben Thatcher on drums. Their sound is closely associated with Kerr’s bass style, in which he uses effects pedals and amplifiers to make the bass guitar function like both a bass and an electric guitar at the same time.

The duo are signed to Warner Chappell Music, which they join in 2013. They release four studio albums: Royal Blood in 2014, How Did We Get So Dark? in 2017, Typhoons in 2021 and Back to the Water Below in 2023.
