Round Table Knights are a Swiss DJ and producer duo made up of DJ Questionmark and DJ Atomik. Active since 2002, they organise parties across Switzerland and appear in clubs and at festivals throughout Europe.
Style and performances
The duo describe their approach in terms of variety, and their sets and productions span electronic, acoustic, futuristic, romantic and intense elements. They focus on mixing different styles, and have played with a wide range of artists including TTC, Beastie Boys, Gilles Peterson, TY, Spank Rock, Coco Rosie, Justice, Modeselektor, Tiga, Simian Mobile Disco, Soulwax, The Rapture and Tortoise. Since mid-2004, visual jockeys from Walldisplay have accompanied their music with live visuals for club nights.
Releases and appearances
The Round Table Knights release their first mix-CD, Only for the Money and the Fame, in 2004. This is followed in 2005 by a second mix-CD, It's Funny How Money Changes The Situation. In addition, a 7-inch release reaches record stores in London, Berlin and Vienna. Their first remix 12-inch appears in December 2006 and includes the track Baltimore Clock Rock, which becomes a Baltimore club hit.
They are booked for the Miles Davis Hall at the Montreux Jazz Festival after the 2004 mix-CD release, and in 2007 they play shows across Europe, including Sonar Festival in Barcelona and Popkomm in Berlin.
