Rory Lyons

Rory Lyons is a Bristol-based DJ and producer and a member of Cassette Jam. He works in funk-influenced club music and develops a solo career alongside his work in the duo.

Cassette Jam

With Cassette Jam, Lyons builds a reputation in UK club culture through sets at venues and nights including Chibuku, Wax On, Metropolis and The Warehouse Project. The duo also holds summer residencies in Ibiza, including at Amnesia, Space Ibiza and Ibiza Rocks.

Solo releases and remixes

Lyons’ solo debut is Shake Ya Mama, a bass-led track combining big beat and ghetto funk elements. It receives radio and DJ support from Zane Lowe, Kissy Sell Out, Eddy Temple-Morris and Annie Nightingale after appearing in Zane Lowe’s Live Essential Mix from Space Ibiza.

He continues with a busy release run that includes original productions and remixes for Sugarbeat, Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak label and Bombstrikes. He also releases a free remake of The Humpty Dance and remixes tracks for the Drumattic Twins, Krafty Kuts, Doorly and Kissy Sell Out.

Lyons is endorsed by Fenchurch, a UK clothing brand, and tours internationally as part of his work as a DJ and producer.
