Roomer

Roomer is a Berlin group active since 2022. The band centres on ronja and forms around long-time collaborators Ronja Schößler, Ludwig Wandinger and Luka Aron. Their music draws on noise rock, shoegaze, dream pop and art rock, and is described as combining noise, melody and memory in guitar-led songs that sit between emotional directness and sonic experimentation.

Music and releases

The group’s debut album, Leaving It All to Chance, appears on Squama and is presented as capturing the force of the band’s live performances. It combines diaristic lyrics with spectral textures and abrupt moments of catharsis. A later single, Written By, introduces a sound built from first-take spontaneity, immersive production and raw emotional clarity. Roomer’s label is Fun in the Church.

Collaborations and live activity

Roomer brings together musicians working across Europe’s avant-garde, folk and electronic scenes, and the band develops its sound through collaboration within Berlin’s artistic community. It performs live across Europe and the UK, and has played a London debut at the ICA and a showcase at ESNS.
