Ronya

Ronya is a Finnish singer-songwriter who works in pop and indie pop. The name is also used by at least one other artist, but the Finnish act is Ronja Richardsdotter Gullichsen, who is born in Finland in 1991 and performs under the stage name Ronya; she later also uses the name New Ro. She is the daughter of British-born music producer Richard Stanley and is Finnish Swedish-British.

Career

Ronya signs to Warner Music Finland in 2008, when she is 16 years old. Her first singles are “Annoying” and “Hyperventilating”, which appear in 2011 and 2012 respectively. Her debut album, The Key Is The Key, is released in 2012. In 2015 she releases her second album, Tides, as a digital-only release with no physical edition.
