Roman Candles is a Birmingham-born artist, born in 1993, associated with pop punk and folk punk. The name has also been used for two different punk acts: one described as California suburban punk, which moves between acoustic and electric performance, and another as a Texas power-band active in the late 1980s.

Other uses of the name

The Texas group has a brief history, with two cassette releases and one vinyl record. The California act is described as alternating between acoustic and electric arrangements. The name therefore refers to more than one project in punk music rather than a single fixed lineup.
