Roger Beaujolais
Roger Beaujolais is a British vibraphone player from Harrogate, United Kingdom. Born in 1942, he is self-taught and works as a session musician.
Career
He begins his career as a founder member of the jump/jive group The Chevalier Brothers in the 1980s, and later forms The Beaujolais Band. He also plays with Jerry Dammers' Spatial A.K.A. Orchestra.
Work as a musician and educator
Beaujolais runs his own label, StayTuned Records, and teaches jazz vibraphone at Trinity College of Music in London. He is also active under the name Roger Beaujolais Quintet, which releases the album Blue Reflections.
