Rockwell is the recording name of Tom Green, a British drum and bass producer from the United Kingdom, born in 1983. He works in electronic music and is associated with drum and bass.
Career
As Rockwell, Green develops a detailed and highly arranged production style. His tracks appear on Digital Soundboy, Renegade Hardware, Critical and Darkestral, and he later signs exclusively to Friction’s Shogun Audio imprint. He also builds a reputation as a DJ through sets associated with MoS and Rinse.
Releases and tracks
Among his best-known tracks are “Underpass”, “Reverse Engineering” and “4U”. His 2012 activity includes the build-up to a debut album, and tracks such as “Tripwire” and “Constantcomplexrhythmicsound” are noted as significant dancefloor releases. He also works on remixes of Jubei and Netsky, pointing to material that reaches beyond a strict 170bpm drum and bass format.
