Rob Barrett

Rob Barrett is a US guitarist from Buffalo, New York, best known for his work in death metal. He plays guitar in Cannibal Corpse and is also a member of Solstice, Malevolent Creation and HatePlow.

Cannibal Corpse

Barrett joins Cannibal Corpse in 1993, leaves in 1997, and returns in 2005. He appears on the albums The Bleeding, Vile, Kill and Evisceration Plague. He also helps write several Cannibal Corpse songs, including “Absolute Hatred”, “Devoured by Vermin”, “She Was Asking for It” and “Stripped, Raped and Strangled”.

Other recordings

In 1992, Barrett plays lead guitar on Malevolent Creation’s album Retribution. He also performs guitar and vocals with Solstice on their self-titled album. In addition, he contributes guitar to Roadrunner United, where his playing appears on “Annihilation by the Hands of God” and “Constitution Down”.
