Road Trip was formed in the Philadelphia area in 2001. The original line up of Kris Ballerini (vocals), Dominic Macrone (guitar / vocals), Greg Locke (bass), and Greg Romano (drums) played out regularly and recorded a demo at Slot 1 studios in Ambler, PA. During the next several years the following musicians joined Road Trip; Alyx Reinhart (vocals / keyboards), Joe Russo (bass / guitar), Roberto Lombardi (bass / keyboards / vocals), Brian Berlanda (drums / percussion), Mike Gerstner (guitar / mandolin / vocals), and Mary Kirk (vocals). The band recorded a full length CD ("Driven") at Range Studio in Ardmore, PA in 2005. Road Trip continued to play regular gigs through early 2007. The members currently perform solo and in a variety of other bands (Friar's Point, After Image, The Bobby Cadmus Band) while Road Trip takes a sabbatical from gigging.
