Road Trip

Road Trip is a group from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, active from 1990 to the present. It forms a rock and alternative act in the available tags, with additional tagging that includes tech house, minimal techno, and spontan.

History

The band forms in the Philadelphia area in 2001. Its original line-up includes Kris Ballerini on vocals, Dominic Macrone on guitar and vocals, Greg Locke on bass, and Greg Romano on drums. The group plays regularly and records a demo at Slot 1 studios in Ambler, Pennsylvania.

Over the following years, Alyx Reinhart joins on vocals and keyboards, Joe Russo on bass and guitar, Roberto Lombardi on bass, keyboards, and vocals, Brian Berlanda on drums and percussion, Mike Gerstner on guitar, mandolin, and vocals, and Mary Kirk on vocals. In 2005, the band records a full-length CD titled Driven at Range Studio in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. Road Trip continues to play regular gigs through early 2007, after which the members perform solo and in other bands including Friar's Point, After Image, and The Bobby Cadmus Band while Road Trip is on sabbatical from gigging.
