Rizan Said is a composer, musician and producer from Germany. He is also known as Said Zarzour and is associated with the group SRK. His work is rooted in hip hop, while his performances and recordings are also linked with Syrian dabke and folk music.

Career

Rizan Said is responsible for hundreds of productions in the Syrian recording industry, and he also composes themes for television and cinema. He releases his first solo album, The King of Keyboard, on Annihaya Records, and the record continues to receive critical acclaim internationally. A second solo album appears on Akuphone Records in late 2019.

Performance style

His solo performances bring the original dabke dance sounds of Syria to European festivals and concerts.
