Riss is an alias of Wolfgang Voigt, a German producer from Köln, Germany, born in 1961. Under this name, he releases techno, electronic, acid, experimental and acid house music.

In 1999, he issues four entries in the Kreisel 99 series on his own Kompakt imprint. The Riss name is part of Voigt’s wider work under different aliases within German electronic music.
