Risky Business

Risky Business is a punk group from Halifax that starts in 2004 and remains active until 2007. It is also referred to as Risky Biz. The band plays hardcore punk and is associated with the Halifax scene.

Releases and label

The group releases a full-length CD on Rock Vegas Records. That record includes six new songs, the demo track, and unreleased material. It also issues a split 7-inch with the UK band Nervous Wreck, also on Rock Vegas Records.

Activity and touring

Risky Business tours extensively during its run, with three US tours, two Canadian tours, and two European tours. The band begins in March 2004 and gives its final show on 29 December 2007 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Background

The group describes itself as coming from a small, remote city in Canada and playing hardcore. Its name appears alongside other acts with the same name in some listings, but the Halifax punk band is the one identified here.
