Riptide

Riptide is a name used by several different acts in different styles. One is a hardcore punk and surf band from Wilmington, North Carolina. Another is a dance project by Ferry Corsten, who releases one record under this name, the Going Back EP, which includes the tracks “Going Back”, “Dope” and “Click”. A further use of the name is as an alias for Dutch producer Max Bedeker, whose remix of Jennifer Delano’s “Amsterdam” becomes a set staple for artists including Aeroplane, Brodinski, Fake Blood and Switch, and who is working on his first EP. The name also appears as a glam metal side project involving Anthony Vincent and Erock.

Hardcore punk and surf band

The Wilmington, North Carolina group records a Mind Beach Demo, released in February 2012. Its listed members are Lenny on vocals and drums, Chris on guitar, Robert on bass, and Jared on vocals and drums.

Dance project

As a dance project, Riptide is linked to Ferry Corsten and appears in 1997 with the Going Back EP.

Alias of Max Bedeker

RipTide is also the alias of Dutch producer Max Bedeker. Under this name he remixes Jennifer Delano’s “Amsterdam”, and the track circulates in club sets by Aeroplane, Brodinski, Fake Blood and Switch.
