RINZEN is a producer from Los Angeles, California, working across techno, tech house, minimal techno and progressive house. Raised in California, he develops an early interest in music by soundtracking college parties, experimenting with production in his spare time and working as a music journalist.

A trip to Europe broadens his perspective and introduces him to techno and underground club music associated with Richie Hawtin and Marco Carola. After returning to Los Angeles, he studies at Icon Collective and begins releasing music under the Rinzen name.

His early releases are limited but point towards a developing sound. One of his first tracks under the alias is Renegade, which appears on a Mau5trap compilation. He also prepares a debut EP titled Forbidden City.
