Richard Strange

Richard Strange is an English musician, actor, writer and composer from the United Kingdom, born in 1951. He is best known for fronting the protopunk band Doctors of Madness in 1975.

He releases solo work under his own name and is associated with Richard Strange & The Engine Room and TV Smith & Richard Strange. In 1981 he releases The Phenomenal Rise of Richard Strange on Virgin Records.

Outside music, he works in film and television. He makes films with Tim Burton, Neil Jordan and Martin Scorsese, and appears in several episodes of the comedy series Men Behaving Badly.
