Richard Reed Parry is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer from Ottawa, Canada. Born in 1977, he is best known as a core member of Arcade Fire, where he plays a range of instruments and often moves between guitar, double bass, drums, celesta, keyboards and accordion.

Parry also performs in Bell Orchestre. In addition to his work with those groups, he collaborates with The National, arranging vocals and writing guitar parts for songs on their High Violet album. He also appears with them singing and playing guitar and double bass in a Vevo live event and on their Late Night with David Letterman appearance in 2011.
