Rich Young, also known as B.Keyz and born Brian Anthony Wilson, is an American recording artist, record producer and entrepreneur. He is also associated with The Chocolate Watchband.

Early life and education

Young is born on June 16 and begins playing music at the age of 10, starting with classical and improvisational jazz piano. At 11, he starts composing original music, and at 12 he studies alto and tenor saxophone. A private instructor encourages him to join his local high-school symphonic and marching bands.

He graduates from Gar-field Senior High School in Woodbridge, Virginia in June 2003 and later attends Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He earns a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

Career

After college, Young works full time for Careerbuilder, Inc. and in fraud detection at Bank of America before returning to music. He goes on to produce music for projects including Kanga Kids hip-hop, Jamie Dukes’ Chachersize Fitness DVD, and catalogued music licensed to NFL Network.

His production credits include work recorded by Pebbles, Foxy Brown, Grafh, Don Juan and Lil Playboii.
